Adirondack Terrestrial Invasive Species Management Grant
For support of nonprofit organizations and municipalities working to manage terrestrial invasive species in the Adirondack region. Projects can support direct removal of invasives as well as training and support for residents and organizations.
Adirondack Terrestrial Invasive Species Management Fund Guidelines
Adirondack Terrestrial Invasive Species Management Fund grants are available to nonprofit organizations and municipalities to support projects working to manage terrestrial invasive species in the Adirondack region, defined for this purpose by Adirondack Community Foundation as all of Clinton, Essex, Franklin, and Hamilton counties as well as the parts of Herkimer, St. Lawrence, Warren, Saratoga and Washington counties within the Adirondack Park boundary. Request should cover a three year timeline.
Grant size:
Grants will be up to $5,000, distributed over two years contingent on a one year follow up report.
Deadlines and notifications:
Applications must be received by April 30th annually.
Grant notifications will be made on a rolling basis as received.
As part of this grant, we ask recipients to submit a follow-up report. These reports play an important role in our grantmaking process, providing both data and insight that help us measure impact, identify trends, and learn about obstacles.
